On the web he’s pioneering the online magazine idea. You remember those mags that looked exactly the same as their printed versions just with Flash page turns? This is like that. But waaaay better. There’s zooming, image enlargement, games to play, votes to do (too many really) and videos of Ronaldo pulling sick ball juggling moves. Pushing the boundaries. Read/experience it here: 5magazine.rioferdinand.com/1K4a489c3c379dc012.cde
Fashion-wise though he probably needs to take some of his own magazine’s advice when it comes to beachwear, as this cheap shot proves (seriously though, what was he thinking?): thesun.co.uk/…/Rio-Ferdinand-wears-camp-outfit-on-holiday-with-pals.html
On telly he’s had a go at being our answer to Ashton Kutcher, by ‘merking’ his England teammates. The programme was a bit hit and miss but this segment where you get to see that prize wally Ashley Cole squirm and get shouted at makes it worthwhile: youtube.com/watch?v=CPo3al6vsow
The big screen is now obviously his next target, as him and the boy Cole are producing a Brit gangster film. If there were prizes for unoriginality this would sweep the board. It’s also may have reached a new acting low in pairing Danny Dyer with 50 Cent (yep the rapper). Watch the trailer here and feel that tension as the fear of whether or not they’ll get their £100k (OMG!!!) cranks up: deadmanrunning.com
